Glimpses from a White Christmas

We have had an exceptionally White Christmas in Norway this year. We have been lucky in these parts with only about 25 cm of snow and 8 - 10 degrees C below zero. However, combined with the low sun and clear sky one has at least the opportunity to try and get some nice shots. So here is a sampling of today's catch.

The photo above is shot about one meter from my front door, catching the first rays from the rising sun reaching my snow-covered firs.

A roof may well be a roof, but sometimes things like this catches my attention.

A frosty lamp gets some lighting from the sun.

The frost shows itself as haze in the distance.
