1989: Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev arrives in Havana, Cuba, but soon learns that they don’t have any soft toilet paper either.


1992: Mafia boss John Gotti is convicted in New York of murder, racketeering, and using a subway station bathroom.


2002: Israeli forces surround the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem… mostly in hopes of meeting some shiksas.
