This 1922 Neel Reid house on W. Wesley was built by Henry and Isabel Tompkins. It used to look like this until last week:
There was a blurb about the new color on the house in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper yesterday. Here's the quote:
Coming Sunday, Old Home's Neighbors Boo Hue
"A historic home in the tony Peachtree Heights West neighborhood has a fresh coat of paint and some freshly annoyed neighbors. The owner has saved the famous house from disrepair, but it's new color doesn't blend well with surrounding homes. "
And there is more in the Metro section today. Apparently, the neighbors aren't happy. What do you think? Leave a comment.
