Those were the days

In these days of grounded air transport a small flashback might be in order. I shot this photo in the spring of 1977 in the harbour of Bergen. The ship is one of the old ships of The Coastal Express. These ships no longer berth here, since this area is no longer open to the public - due to the "security measures" (an extremely ugly fence) imposed by the Schengen rules (They stop absolutely nothing but photographers). The cranes are no longer here, either.

The photo was shot with a Mamyia 1000 DTL probably fitted with a Mamyia/Sekor 55mm/1,8 lens. The film was Kodak Tri-X and I developed it myself. It is scanned from the original film and post-treated with Photoshop CS4.

This Monochrome concept came from Aileni at Monochrome Weekend.
